BPC-157 at a glance
  • BPC-157 is a pentadecapeptide made up of a small chain of fifteen amino acids
  • Has been found to speed up wound healing in damaged muscles and crushed muscle as well as more specifically tears in the quadriceps muscle and Achilles tendons.

What is BPC-157?

This peptide is made up of fifteen amino acids and it’s a partial chain of the body protection compound known as BPC, which is isolated from the stomach. This peptide is renowned for its ability to improve digestive functions, but also has positive effects on various gastrointestinal organs and has potential benefits for repairing of the pancreas, liver, endothelium and can decrease heart damage.

Why should I use BPC-157?

This peptide falls under the classification of regenerative medicine. Studies have shown that along with its effects on alleviating acute and chronic inflammation it can also help to increase wound and fracture healing. Studies have also linked this peptide with the ability to promote effective tendon-to-bone healing and superior healing of damaged ligaments. In addition, BPC 157 is linked to protection of organs and prevention of ulcers of the stomach.
It can also work to heal stomach ulcers in those who have overused NSAID-type drugs, (NSAID drugs are non-steroid, anti-inflammatory drugs and they are classified as pain relievers).

Another clinical study explored BPC-157’s ability to help laboratory mice with skin burns to heal at a faster rate. In addition, clinical trials demonstrate that BPC 157 has the capacity to heal certain types of damage to the liver organ, which are triggered by alcohol abuse.

As BPC 157 is non-toxic it promotes liver health without causing unwanted side effects. This peptide is also effective on its own, so it doesn’t require a carrier in order to provide its array of health benefits, including the promotion of better liver health.

Are there any side effects associated?

There have been no documented negative side effects besides local stinging or irritation on injection site. We still recommend regular blood testing for cortisol levels (every 6 months to a year) of your levels as they are relatively new compounds.
